Over the last three summers my junior high group has been blessed to join Encounter Missions on the Navajo and Hopi reservations. These mission trips have been absolutely amazing. Pastor Bill and his team have made sure that there are always great ministry oppurtunities and appropriate challenges for my teams. We have also enjoyed his knowledge of these two tribes and how we can minister to them. On all three trips we have enjoyed the bonding oppurtunities we have had that Pastor Bill and his team have provided. We have climbed mountains, hiked into canyons, jumped off cliff's into the river, adventured into the little painted dessert and watched the sunset from Dilkkon mountain. These memories have been a fantastic part of our journey to grow our kids in Christ. Oh... and by the way, the food is always fantastic. As a Youth Pastor who has taken aobut 20 short-term missions, I have never seen any trip where everything was taken care of for us quite like we experience with Encounter Missions International. Every summer my leaders and I are free to minister to our kids and join their efforts to bless those we are serving.
